We created a cupcake tree for ‘Miss Cakehead’s “Cake Britain” tour supported by Tate & Lyle. As part of a UK wide journey (logistics arranged by Helix 3D) the tree popped up at various events giving children the opportunity to ‘pick’ cupcakes directly off the tree. Recipe cards were given to their parents in a bid to encourage them to try the treats at home. As such it has to be both food safe & child friendly and look like a realistic tree even at close inspection. The inspiration was The Faraway tree with the cupcakes on the tree themed to each location (such as Greenwich) by Emma’s team.
