HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome to 2019, the office and workshop are back open and hitting the ground running this year. We have 2 builds underway and a full team in slaving away to get sets ready for London and Paris installations.
We are starting 2019 with a massive injection of new technology into our building as part of a major upgrade.
The whole warehouse will be equipped throughout with LED lights, allowing us to work on intricate projects whatever the weather or time of day. The installation will react to light levels and motion to give us an environmentally friendly and cost efficient lighting system.
This has been coupled with a new fire alarm system, new gates and fencing, to give you confidence that your sets are protected while they are stored here or under construction.
As well as general renovation we are also working on an upgraded housekeeping systems as part of our ISO review. This will be a continual process to improve efficiency and Health and Safety throughout the workshop.
We also have a new IT support partner in ROCK IT to help us upgrade all the office support systems and enable us to get back to you as fast as possible. There will soon be dedicated broadband to improve upload speeds and new software to support quoting and invoicing. This will allow us to take card payments for Helix3d and The Bar Bazaar.
We are also launching a new Events Basics range, for Bar Bazaar and Helix customers, to select simple core items at a very competitive cost but produced to the normal Helix high standard.
These will include steel deck staging, flattage, treads, plinths, lecterns and much more to help you meet tight budgets and reduce wastage. Great for your green credentials and your pocket.
Obviously we are loving all the extra training involved but it is very exciting to see the fruits of so much investment and planning coming together.
