Crew Chief

Helix 3D are recruiting an in house Crew Chief with experience in the tv/film/events industry and who is looking for a full time, permanent role.

Roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

• Integrated working seamlessly with our head of production and all trades within our organisation
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Goods in – labelling, allocating and organising all deliveries and collections
• Stock control – reporting to Head Office on materials used on an daily basis
• Keeping workshop tidy and organised
• Work to tight deadlines to meet the demands of the business whilst maintaining quality
• Ensure that the workshop is safely maintained, that all working areas are safe
• Assisting on job builds
• Working at our HQ and sites internationally

Requirements.

• Crew chief experience in tv/film/events
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to actively seek solutions to problems
• Excellent customer care skills
• Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
• Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements

3D Project Manager

Job description:

We’re looking for a Project Manager who wants to build a career with us. The role will initially include providing support to our senior Project Managers, developing an understanding of the commercial, creative and production aspects of project management here. You will need to manage project documentation and method statements, create construction drawings and presentations, participate in the design and build process by communicating with the workshop. You will be sourcing materials, machinery, props, locations, crew, you will be integral to the management of all projects. You will be expected develop a very broad range of skills including leadership which will be key to the successful delivery of all projects.

3D Digital project manager

Job description

We’re looking for an expert in 3D Design and project management who would be responsible for setting up a new high tech 3D department. You will be designing in 3D and programming files for production by 3D robotic sculpting machines, 2D CNC and 3D Printing. Working on multiple projects simultaneously you will have a critical role in the creation of our new department. The candidate will work symbiotically with senior Project Managers, clients and a wide range of professionals including scenic painters, carpenters, metal workers, sculptors, engineers and designers etc. You will see projects progress from beginning to end including live phases and on site installation.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Rhino 3D, AutoCAD, Sketch up and willingness to learn new programmes.
