MC CAIN
We won the contract for this project in direct competition with set construction contractors in Prague. Our competitive edge was further reinforced by our ability to work much faster than our Czech counter parts, the deadline for completion of these large sets was 5 days! We began by producing as many stock panels as possible while our client worked on the bespoke elements and set details.
01
Phase one
We began pre production by sourcing appropriate finishes including brick, tile, wood and paint finishes. All samples were presented to our client for sign off before going into production. Our structural engineer designed the rigging for each of rooftop based on our clients 3d model. Our team had 2 days prefabrication time before going into the studio.
02
phase two
As each structure had to be mobile for setting to camera we built everything on mobile scaffold rigs, these were pushed into place as requested by our director. Over the period of the 3 day shoot many last minute tweaks and adjustments were required to accommodate, props, actors and cameras.
03
phase three
The quality of our finishes bore close scrutiny by hi definition cameras, the flexibility of our rigs allowed ultimate flexibility for our director. Our approach and the quality of our production multiplied the shooting options; moveable rigs which could be repositioned in many configurations and shot close up and wide.
